Welcome to The Wanderers Rock 'n' Roll Car Club Adelaide! We’re a friendly, vibrant community of car and motorcycle lovers dedicated to celebrating classic vehicles, fostering connections, and making the most of our shared passion.
Club meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month at The Founders Restaurant, 246 Fosters Rd, Oakden SA 5086. It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow members, chat about your favorite cars, and get involved in the club’s activities.

#1: Individual Membership
An Individual Membership is perfect for classic car, hot rod, muscle car, motorcycle and vintage vehicle enthusiasts who want to be part of a passionate community.
This membership gives you access to all club activities, voting rights on club matters, and eligibility to participate in the South Australian Registration Scheme.
Benefits of Individual Membership:
- ✅ Full access to all club events, meetings, and social gatherings
- ✅ Voting rights on club decisions
- ✅ Eligibility for the Club Registration Scheme & MR334 vehicle forms
- ✅ Free logbook processing for eligible vehicles
- ✅ Access to the members-only area on our website
- ✅ A welcoming community of fellow car car and motorcycle enthusiasts
Requirements to Maintain Standard Membership:
- Must attend a minimum of six (6) club meetings per year (July–June).
- If attendance falls below six meetings, membership will be adjusted to Privileged status after the May meeting.
Annual Fee: $40 per year
#2: Family Membership
A Family Membership is designed for households where multiple family members share a love for classic and vintage cars or motorcycles. This option includes up to two adults and their dependent children (under 18) living at the same address.
Benefits of Family Membership:
- ✅ All Individual Membership benefits for both adults
- ✅ Includes dependent children (under 18) at no extra cost
- ✅ Family-friendly events and activities
- ✅ A great way to share your love of cars car and motorcycles with the whole family
Note: Children under 18 are welcome to participate in club activities but are not eligible to vote on club matters.

- Elect to join as a Privileged Member upon sign-up, for those who prefer to be part of the club without the commitment of attending meetings.
Privileged members still enjoy many club benefits including:

- ✅ Eligibility for the Club Registration Scheme & MR334 vehicle forms
- ✅ Full access to club events, meets, and social gatherings

What is the South Australian Club Registration Scheme?
The South Australian Club Registration Scheme allows eligible classic, vintage, muscle, hot rod, and modified vehicles that are 25 years or older to be registered under a special permit, reducing registration costs while keeping these vehicles on the road legally.

- A 25-year rolling cut-off for qualifying vehicles.
- Historic Vehicles now include legally modified cars.
- Left-Hand Drive (LHD) vehicles are now treated the same as Right-Hand Drive (RHD) vehicles in terms of allowed modifications.
- Vehicle inspections & statutory declarations are no longer required for club registration.
How do I get Club Registration (Club Rego) on my vehicle?
1️⃣ Join The Wanderers Rock 'n' Roll Car Club, an approved club for administering Club Registration.
2️⃣ Speak with one of our Club Registration Officers or a committee member, who will guide you through the process.
3️⃣ Once your vehicle is approved, you’ll receive a log book to keep track of your registration requirements.

How does the 25-year cut-off work?
If your vehicle will be 25 years or older at any time during the calendar year (starting 1st January), it qualifies for Club Registration.
Do I have to be a member of a club to get Club Registration?
Yes. You must be a member of a club approved to administer the Conditional Registration Scheme.
Important: If your membership lapses, your Club Registration is no longer valid, and you will be driving an unregistered vehicle, which can result in fines of up to $750. Clubs are legally required to report lapsed memberships to the Registrar.

What modifications are allowed under Club Registration?
The Wanderers Rock 'n' Roll Car Club does not determine modification rules. However, you can find official guidelines here:

Can I keep my current number plates on a Club Registered vehicle
Yes! There are no changes to number plate requirements when switching to Club Registration.
Can I register more than one vehicle under Club Registration?
Yes! You can register multiple vehicles through The Wanderers Rock 'n' Roll Car Club.
Each vehicle must have its own log book, but your single club membership covers all of your eligible vehicles.

Can I put a vehicle under Club Registration if it is owned by my company?
No. The registered owner of the vehicle must be an individual and a current financial member of The Wanderers Rock 'n' Roll Car Club.
I have been moved to a privileged membership. Can i have my standard membership Status returned?
You can easily re-gain Standard Membership Status if you have been moved to Privileged Membership Status and you wish to revert back. The requirements to do so are as follows:
- Attend six (6) club meetings in the next membership year (July–June).
- Once the attendance requirement is met, membership will be reinstated to full status with voting rights and Club Registration Scheme eligibility.
A Few Things to Note
- To join, you’ll need an active email address and PayPal account.
- Membership runs from July 1 to June 30, regardless of your joining month.
Joining is simple:
Just complete the online application, pay your Membership fee, and you’ll be part of the club as soon as your application is processed! You’ll receive a confirmation email when your membership is activated.
