The Wanderers Rock ‘N’ Roll Car Club was founded by Peter Panagaris on the 22nd of September 2004, and held their inaugural meeting on the 1st of November 2004. Peter saw the need for this sort of club as a Rock ‘n’ Roll music and car enthusiast, whose main aim was to promote Rock ‘n’ Roll dancing and cars as stated to the club members and public in general.
The Wanderers Rock 'n' Roll Car Club was founded for people who had an interest in the music, dance and fashion of the rock and roll era, and also those who owned or admired the cars of the same period.
Today the club caters not only for those vehicles, but also Hot Rods, Customs, Muscle, and Classic cars of any vintage, and is duly authorised to manage the requirements of the South Australian Club Registration Scheme, including issuing MR334 vehicle forms for Vintage, Prescribed Left Hand Drive vehicles, Street Rods and Modified vehicles.
